Football club FK Železiarne Podbrezová has a new player - Bogdan Veljić, an 18-year-old player born in Montenegro, who until now played in the academy of FK Partizan Belgrade. Bogdan is also a player of the Montenegrin national team.

General manager of the club Miroslav Poliaček "In Slovakia, we were looking for a similar type of player, year 2004-2005, and finally we found it abroad, precisely in Bogdan. We decided for this player, who is a representative of Montenegro, worked in Partizán Belgrade, which certainly testifies to his sporting qualities. We're very curious about how he'll do with us and of course we wish him all the best. He is currently training with the A-team, and in the next two weeks we will decide where he will spend the spring part, whether in Podbrezova's squad or he will go on loan to FK Pohronie"
