Now, just a year later, AS Monaco is paying several times as much to transfer Nacer into the French second division. There's no question about it: Austria Wien's Tommy Parits made a great decision – both in terms of football and finances!
Roman KIENAST:
The SK Sturm Graz striker and ex-Rapid Wien player will transfer with immediate effect to Austria Wien. This happy announcement was made just a few hours ago – and not without a note of pride – by MD Markus Kraetschmer.
Roman is the perfect player for Austria Wien and is now extremely keen to try for a place in the national team. His playing is certain to bring a lot of pleasure to new trainer Ivica Vastic and fans at Austria Wien.
Tomas SIMKOVIC:
The captain of SC Wiener Neustadt is moving to the Violets and – after the departures of Junuzovic and Barazite – is seizing the chance to make a name for himself at this distinguished club.
While Neustadt trainer Peter Stöger naturally regrets the departure of his left-wing player, he understands his decision and now faces the task of finding a suitable replacement.
Christoph SAURER:
If I were a trainer (Editor's note), Christoph would definitely be in my personal Top 10: a strong team player, pacey, outstanding ball skills, ambitious – and, to top it all off, a great lad as well. These were the qualities that evidently appealed to Peter Stöger, too, since he has now signed Christoph for Wiener Neustadt following the departure of Tomas Simkovic.
S & F wishes everyone a great spring season!
